The new bombshells aren’t afraid to make their mark in the villa. <\/p>
We\u2019re nearing the end of Love Island<\/a> 2023\u2019s second week in South Africa and what a fortnight it\u2019s been!<\/p>\n We\u2019ve seen seven bombshells enter the villa throughout the season so far and waved goodbye to three islanders (David Salako<\/a>, Anna-May Robey<\/a> and Haris Namani<\/a>), and although romantic connections are getting stronger day by day, it hasn\u2019t been smooth sailing for the singles.<\/p>\n After the dramatic arrival of newest additions Spencer Wilks<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Ellie Spence<\/a> at the start of last night\u2019s recoupling, Ron Hall<\/a> and Lana Jenkins<\/a>\u2018s romance hit a bump in the road thanks to Ellie picking Ron at the firepit. Ellie wasn\u2019t afraid to ruffle feathers by going for Ron and saying that he hasn\u2019t met his match yet, causing Lana to whisper under her breath: \u201cCome off it.\u201d<\/p>\n Next up it was Spencer, who chose Olivia Hawkins<\/a> in the recoupling \u2013 perfect timing for the ring girl, whose options were dwindling after Haris was dumped and Tom Clare<\/a> started gravitating more towards Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown<\/a>.<\/p>\n Speaking of which, Tom unsurprisingly picked Zara, while Will Young<\/a> broke his friendship couple curse by choosing Jessie Wynter<\/a> \u2013 hopefully the pair will last!<\/p>\n As for the rest of the islanders, Shaq Muhammad<\/a> chose Tanya Manhenga<\/a> and Kai Fagan<\/a> chose Tanyel Revan<\/a>, leaving Aaron Waters<\/a> to choose Lana, telling her to \u2018keep her head up\u2019 despite the Ron-Ellie drama.<\/p> During their first proper chat, Ron revealed to Ellie that he would be open to getting to know her despite telling Lana that he was still focused on her \u2013 he\u2019s playing a dangerous game!<\/p>\n The next morning, the islanders were treated to a brunch on the terrace, after which Ellie pulled Tom for a chat (to the disappointment of Zara). While she let the semi-pro footballer know that she was interested, she soon moved on to clear the air with Lana.<\/p>\n While Ellie admitted that her comment about Ron not meeting his match was \u201csavage\u201d, she added that in her opinion, she didn\u2019t see any \u201csparks flying\u201d between the two. The awkward exchange ended with Lana defending her and Ron\u2019s relationship, saying that Ellie was wrong about them.<\/p>\n If you thought that was tense, it\u2019s only going to get worse in tonight\u2019s episode. The first-look preview saw Lana tell Ron that she wasn\u2019t interested in a love triangle before Ron admits that he\u2019s messed things up. Will they be able to mend their relationship?
