If you\u2019re looking for ways to make things easier for yourself in Dead Space<\/a>, you\u2019re in luck, as there are plenty of cheats available to use in the game that still work today.<\/p>\n

There are cheat codes that will refill your oxygen supplies, add credits, and more in the original game. Useful codes to know if you\u2019re finding the game too difficult and need to make things easier for you and Isaac Clarke.<\/p>\n

If you want to use cheats in the Dead Space remake, meanwhile, you will want to know if they work or not. Luckily that\u2019s exactly what we\u2019re here for.<\/p>\n

Read on to find out how to use cheats in the original Dead Space and for the full list of working cheat codes in the game. Below, you\u2019ll also find out whether or not the Dead Space remake has cheats.<\/p>\n

How to use cheats in the original Dead Space<\/b><\/h2>\n

To use cheat codes in the original Dead Space you need to pause the game and then input a string of button presses in the correct order. Once you\u2019ve done that correctly, the cheat should have worked. Better yet, using cheats won\u2019t disable achievements or trophies.<\/p>\n

For example, say you\u2019re nearly out of oxygen and desperately need to refill. Press pause and then input \u201cX-X-Y-Y-Y\u201d in that order on the Xbox or PC version of the game or \u201c\u25fb-\u25fb-\u0394-\u0394-\u0394\u201d on the PlayStation edition. Your oxygen should now be refilled.<\/p>\n

Some cheats can only be used once per playthrough while a couple can be activated as often as you like. More on that below.<\/p>

Does the Dead Space remake have cheats?<\/b><\/h2>\n

It\u2019s currently unclear as to whether the Dead Space remake has cheats or not. We will, of course, update this guide with the correct information as soon as it becomes available.<\/p>\n

At least we know that the cheat codes from the original game don\u2019t work in the remake<\/strong>. You can try them if you really want but, trust us, they won\u2019t do anything.<\/p>\n
