With Tommy Lee Royce\u2019s great escape in full swing in Happy Valley<\/a>, fans are frantically trying to guess the ending to the final ever episode of the series<\/a> \u2013 and now some brand new teaser pictures have given us some more clues.<\/p>\n

The penultimate episode<\/a> saw James Norton\u2019s villainous Tommy manage to communicate with Ryan in secret through his games console and try to persuade the teenager to run away with him to Spain \u2013 an offer which, worryingly, Ryan said he\u2019d \u201cthink about\u201d.<\/p>\n

Episode 5 also revealed that Tommy is intent on carrying out\u00a0one last revenge mission<\/a> against Catherine (Sarah Lancashire<\/span><\/a>) before he goes, even if it ultimately jeopardises his chances of getting to Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, it certainly looks like there\u2019s cause for concern in the final instalment, if the new images released by the BBC are anything to go by.<\/p>\n

In one new picture released ahead of the final episode, we see the police sergeant in tears (above), while another shows her sister Clare (Siobhan Finneran) looking distressed (below).<\/p>\n

In another image, Catherine is seen standing by a police car and looking up at something in concern, though it\u2019s not clear what.<\/span><\/p>\n

The official synopsis for the final episode teases that \u201cscores are settled for good on Catherine\u2019s final shift\u201d and that \u201cRyan faces a moral dilemma\u201d, but otherwise little is known.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another image released ahead of episode 6 shows Faisal (Amit Shah)<\/a> looking perplexed (below), but will justice catch up with the pharmacist after he killed Joanna (Mollie Winnard) \u2013 the diazepam addict he\u2019d been illegally supplying \u2013 in cold blood in episode 3?<\/span><\/p>\n

One thing we can expect for sure is a final confrontation<\/a> <\/span>between Catherine and Tommy, a showdown which has been teased by the show\u2019s cast and crew since the beginning of season 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

Happy Valley fans have previously theorised that\u00a0there could be a big twist ahead for Con O\u2019Neill\u2019s character Neil Ackroyd<\/a>, after growing suspicious of the dynamic between him and Tommy Lee Royce, while others have\u00a0predicted that the finale will see <\/span>Catherine die<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>
