On Sunday night, Tom kissed Ellie Spence<\/a> on the terrace moments after telling Olivia Hawkins<\/a> that he still wanted to get to know her following his split from Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown<\/a>.<\/p>\n In tonight\u2019s episode, Zara will spill all to Olivia after learning of events from Tanya Manhenga<\/a>. And it\u2019s not looking good for Tom who told Olivia in Monday\u2019s episode that he only saw Ellie as a \u201cfriend\u201d.<\/p>\n Following Tom\u2019s drama, we spoke to\u00a0Love Island super fan and reality TV star Sam Thompson, who can see where 23-year-old footballer Tom is coming from.<\/p>\n Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a> the day after Sunday\u2019s episode, Thompson who hosts the Love Island: The Morning After podcast with season 8 star Indiyah Polack, explained: \u201cThe thing is, I think about two sides of the fence.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe first side is as a viewer and a fan first, and I\u2019m literally like, \u2018Give me that entertainment!\u2019 I\u2019m there for it.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAnd you know, you always have to kind of be like, \u2018Well, I feel like he\u2019s not actually with anyone. He is single. He hasn\u2019t declared his love for anyone or anything like that.\u2019 <\/span>He did just say, \u2018Look, I\u2019ve still got eyes for you\u2019 and all that kind of stuff.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n However, while Thompson maintains that Tom is technically \u201csingle\u201d, he isn\u2019t keen on the footballer\u2019s communication with the ladies, adding: \u201cBut then, t<\/span>he communication is terrible. The entertainment value is 10, the communication is a one.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Despite this, the Made in Chelsea<\/a> star can see some of his own ways in Tom and the Love Island 2023 cast<\/a>.<\/p> He continued: \u201cWhat I really find is that I\u2019ve made so many of these mistakes myself. It\u2019s interesting watching other people make them. I go, \u2018Oh I\u2019ve done that!\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s why I love Love Island because you see people \u2013 they\u2019re humans. They\u2019re human beings. And he\u2019s there and he\u2019s acting like he doesn\u2019t know what show he\u2019s on.
