Since they split several years ago, Martin Fowler (played by James Bye) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) have remained on friendly terms, and now more so than ever for her daughter Lily (Lillia Turner), who\u2019s currently pregnant at just 12.<\/p>\n
However, in an exclusive interview with RadioTimes.com<\/a> at the Radio Times Covers Party, actor Bye hinted that they could be growing closer yet again \u2013 but it might not be in the way fans want.<\/p>\n Speaking about what\u2019s coming up for Martin, Bye teased: \u201cThe great thing [executive producer] Chris [Clenshaw] does is he hints at stuff without giving too much away. For me as an actor, knowing some of the stuff coming in\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cThere are some storylines with Stacey. Martin and Stacey get quite close. I won\u2019t tease in what way, romantically or not, but they\u2019ve got a nice storyline coming up.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously, we know the baby\u2019s coming\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking about Lily\u2019s baby, Bye believes Martin can be a big support for her as she goes through with her pregnancy.<\/p>\n \u201cThey dropped that storyline in and it\u2019s taken off \u2013 our Lillia Turner is just phenomenal. What she\u2019s doing and what she\u2019s got coming up, she\u2019s just amazing.
