Death in Paradise star Don Warrington has offered a hint of what\u2019s to come in a shocking storyline that sees Commissioner Selwyn Patterson discover he has a long-lost daughter.<\/p>\n
The bombshell dropped in last year\u2019s season 11 finale, with the current episodes exploring further as Selwyn and his daughter<\/a> Andrina Harper (Genesis Lynea) finally make contact on Saint Marie.<\/p>\n Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> at the famous\u00a0Radio Times Covers Party<\/strong>, Warrington said he had to be careful about how much he said, joking that executive producer Tim Key had a \u201cstun gun\u201d ready in case he spoiled anything.<\/p> However, he did offer some insight into Selwyn\u2019s mindset as he comes to terms with this life-changing revelation, which certainly won\u2019t be settled easily.<\/p>\n \u201cHe is conflicted,\u201d began Warrington, \u201c[by] the fact that he doesn\u2019t know her. They\u2019ve never met\u2026 and he has a life and it\u2019s difficult in that situation.\u201d<\/p>\n Whether or not Selwyn and Andrina decide to become part of each other\u2019s lives remains a mystery for now, but Warrington added that there is a \u201ckind of resolve\u201d by the end of Death in Paradise<\/a> season 12.<\/p>
