A surprise recoupling resulted in another shock dumping last night. <\/p>
We\u2019re approaching the end of Love Island<\/a>\u2018s third week and it\u2019s certainly been an eventful one!<\/p>\n From furious fire pit fights and tears over turned heads to bombshells blowing away the boys, the last few episodes have certainly kept us entertained with all the dating drama \u2013 and last night, the islanders were surprised by another dumping.<\/p>\n With the boys picking this time, yet another girl had to pack her bags and leave the South African villa<\/a>, however with two male bombshells making their arrival yesterday<\/a>, the Love Island ladies were finally getting lucky.<\/p>\n If you missed last night\u2019s episode, make sure to watch our latest recap video above \u2013 and check out\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/a>\u2018s brand new companion show,\u00a0The Love Island Lowdown<\/a>, for all the latest gossip, behind-the-scenes theories and Week 3 predictions.<\/p>\n Episode 17 kicked off with another recoupling, and while we expected Will Young<\/a> to pick\u00a0Jessie Wynter<\/a>, Shaq Muhammad<\/a> to choose Tanya Manhenga<\/a> and Spencer Wilks<\/a> to go for Olivia Hawkins<\/a>, there were a few surprises around the fire pit.<\/p>\n Aaron Waters<\/a> went for Lana Jenkins<\/a> again, telling her that she \u201cdeserved more than what she got\u201d from Ron Hall<\/a> \u2013 and he\u2019s not wrong. Meanwhile, Kai Fagan<\/a> picked Samie Elishi<\/a>, leaving Tanyel Revan<\/a> vulnerable to elimination before Ron chose her.<\/p>\n With just Tom Clare<\/a> left to pick, it was between his two former flames Ellie Spence<\/a> and Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown<\/a>, and after Tuesday\u2019s row<\/a>, viewers wouldn\u2019t have been stunned to learn that he went with Ellie. The islanders said goodbye to Zara, who was one of the main reasons why the show was starting to deliver the drama \u2013 she will be missed!<\/p>\n After the recoupling, Ron pulled Lana for yet another chat, telling her that he \u201cstill always wants to be around\u201d her. Lana replied saying that she\u2019s always felt \u201csecond best\u201d and that \u201cactions speak louder than words\u201d. Ron needs to be gone, where Lana is concerned.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Shaq and Tanya are only growing stronger, with Shaq declaring his love for her just 17 days into the competition! Let\u2019s hope this honeymoon period lasts.<\/p> The next day, the girls were finally treated to a new batch of boys as HR advisor Jordan Odofin<\/a> and recruitment consultant Casey O\u2019Gorman<\/a>\u00a0entered the villa \u2013 and even Tanya joked that she wished she could \u201crewind\u201d back in time. Shaq, cover your ears!<\/p>\n It wasn\u2019t long before the boys received a text telling them that it was date time, with Casey picking Lana and Jordan picking Tanyel \u2013 that\u2019s definitely karma for Kai and Ron! Jordan told Tanyel that he\u2019s ready to \u201csettle down\u201d and find a \u201clife partner\u201d, while Casey is into Lana and isn\u2019t afraid to \u201cstir things in the villa\u201d.<\/p>\n Back at the ranch, Kai realised that all the boys have \u201cf****d their relationships up\u201d \u2013 to put it eloquently \u2013 and Shaq completely lost his cool with Ron\u2019s indecisiveness, telling him that he\u2019s treated Lana like a \u201csafety net\u201d.<\/p>\n Ending on that dramatic cliffhanger, we\u2019ll have to tune in tonight to find out whether Shaq and Ron can reconcile.<\/p>\n Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm.
