Showrunner Russell T Davies<\/a>, who\u2019s returning to helm the 60th anniversary<\/a> and \u201cseries beyond\u201d, has been chatting away about the guest stars<\/a> involved (including one that fans haven\u2019t spotted just yet).<\/p>\n He\u2019s confirmed that joining the likes of Neil Patrick Harris and Ruth Madeley<\/a> in the 60th anniversary celebrations will be Ronak Patani, who\u2019s playing Major Singh.\u00a0There\u2019s not much known about his character just yet, but he\u2019s seen in the trailer<\/a> released on Christmas Day.<\/p>\n Patani has previously appeared in Andor, Call The Midwife, and The Suspect.<\/p>\n Writing in Doctor Who Magazine<\/a>, Davies said: \u201cThere\u2019s Neil Patrick Harris, okay, there\u2019s Ruth [Madeley], there\u2019s the Noble-Temple family in all their glory, and that\u2019s Ronak Patani as Major Singh\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the casting of Coronation Street<\/a> actor Jack Forsyth-Noble has been confirmed for season 14<\/a>.<\/p>\n He\u2019ll be playing a character named Will and told DWM: \u201cRussell has brought together a kind and incredibly talented team, and to be a part of the first day of filming was really special.
