The two Chasers share their best advice for those wanting to take on the ITV quiz show. <\/p>

Paul Sinha and Darragh Ennis have revealed their top tips for The Chase fans hoping to get on the show \u2013 the main one being: \u201cJust go for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> during an exclusive live Q&A for The Chase<\/a>, the two Chasers delivered their best advice for potential applicants.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really hard because I\u2019ve got no in on what they\u2019re looking for,\u201d Sinha said. \u201cI\u2019ve got no inside information. We don\u2019t talk to the people that audition people. We don\u2019t know what they\u2019re looking for.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut the most important thing I\u2019d say to anybody who wants to be on either version of the show is watch the show. Be aware of everything that goes on. Be aware of the sorts of questions asked. Be aware that when there are certain questions in the Final Chase, if there are only five possible options, don\u2019t buzz in and say pass.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that those who make it to the audition should \u201cjust go for it\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t have to be brilliant at quiz to get on the show, you\u2019ve got to be what they\u2019re looking for to be part of a team,\u201d Sinha said. \u201cSo don\u2019t hold back, be yourself, don\u2019t be shy, just go for it \u2013 because you\u2019re more likely to get on the show taking risks in the audition than you are not.\u201d<\/p>

As for Darragh Ennis, who joined the show in 2020, he said that if you\u2019re a \u201csuper nervous\u201d person, you may want to give the show a swerve.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last thing that anybody wants on the show is a contestant who\u2019s going to be super super nervous, really shy in front of cameras,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo if you do something like that in your audition, they\u2019re not going to look at you and go, \u2018This is a great person who\u2019ll be funny and interesting on the show.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cSo like Paul says, really go for it. But for very good reasons, we are absolutely not allowed near the contestant teams so we don\u2019t really know!\u201d<\/p>
