The smartphone will be officially released on 27th August.<\/p>\n The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 will cost \u00a3949. And while it is still admittedly a lot of money, that\u2019s a good \u00a3280 less than the older Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G model that was released last year.<\/p>\n It is also the cheaper of Samsung\u2019s two new foldable phones. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3<\/a> is considerably more expensive at \u00a31,599.<\/p>\n Marketed as Samsung\u2019s \u2018stylish\u2019 option, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 2 will be available in seven colours. These are; Phantom Black, Green, Lavender, Cream, White, Pink and Grey.<\/p>\n Like with the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, the brand has focused its attention on improving the durability of the Z Flip 3. Both smartphones come with IPX8-rated water resistance, which is the highest standard on any foldable phone.<\/p>\n The hinge has also been upgraded. Now made from a material Samsung calls \u2018Armor Aluminium\u2019, the hinge is 10% more durable than on the Z Flip 3\u2019s predecessor. It is also lighter.<\/p> The main display on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a 6.7-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X with an excellent 120Hz refresh rate. That\u2019s a big improvement from the 60Hz refresh rate found on the Galaxy Z Flip.<\/p>\n This display comes with a new protective film that is 80% more durable than on the previous generation, and there\u2019s Gorilla Glass Victus across the cover display.<\/p>\n The big difference is with the display on the cover. Now 1.9-inches, the outer Infinity Flex Display is four times bigger than on the original Z Flip. This should make the display much more user-friendly and makes notifications easier to read, and it now enables you to pay with Samsung Pay without even opening the phone.<\/p>\n Along with the 10MP front selfie camera, there is a dual-camera set-up on the rear of the smartphone. These two cameras are covered by Gorilla Glass with DX for extra protection.
