An animated series portraying the late Elvis Presley as a superhero<\/a> wasn\u2019t in our predictions for 2023 \u2013 but it\u2019s exactly what\u2019s set to happen in Netflix<\/a>\u2018s Agent Elvis.<\/p>\n

The upcoming series, which will see Matthew McConaughey<\/a> voice the King of Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll fresh off of Austin Butler\u2019s Oscar nominated<\/a>\u00a0performance as the star, was announced in 2019.<\/p>\n

Since, more details have emerged about the series, which was created by Priscilla Presley and John Eddie, and we now have a trailer. It\u2019s safe to say fans have no idea what to think.<\/p>\n

A synopsis for the series reads: \u201cElvis Presley trades in his jumpsuit for a jet pack when he is covertly inducted into a secret government spy program to battle the dark forces that threaten the country he loves \u2013 all while holding down his day job as the King of Rock and Roll.\u201d<\/p>\n

The series will also see Elvis accompanied by his sidekick, a chimpanzee, as he goes about his adventures.<\/p>\n
