Almost eight years after its final season aired, it looks like the much talked about Community movie is finally going ahead \u2013 with filming expected to begin on the project this summer.<\/p>\n
And star Alison Brie has credited the show\u2019s loyal following with helping to get the movie made, telling RadioTimes.com<\/a> during an exclusive interview that the fans were \u201cthe only reason that we might be able to actually make this movie\u201d.<\/p>\n Asked if she was excited to reprise her role as Annie Edison in the film, she said: \u201cI really am. I love those guys. I just love the Community cast so much. So above all, I think it\u2019ll just be so fun to be on set together.\u201d<\/p> She added that working with former Community co-star Danny Pudi on her new movie Somebody I Used to Know \u201calmost ended up feeling like a little preamble to the Community movie\u201d and said she was \u201cjust excited to hang out\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I also, you know, love the fans,\u201d she continued. \u201cCommunity, we have such a strong, amazing fan base. That\u2019s the only reason that we might be able to actually make this movie.
