It\u2019s been almost six decades since Carole Ann Ford\u2019s Susan Foreman<\/a> was unceremoniously locked out of the TARDIS in Doctor Who<\/a> \u2013 but Ford has no shortage of ideas about how she could return<\/a>.<\/p>\n After RadioTimes.com<\/a> readers voted her as the classic companion<\/a> they most want to see back in action<\/a>, the star is well and truly on board, telling us her story pitch \u2013 and it relies on the Doctor and Susan\u2019s telepathic connection.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m just wondering how far that would go, where [The Doctor] would be in the TARDIS if I wanted to communicate with him telepathically,\u201d Ford told us.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I thought, maybe it would be that [Susan] had some incurable disease that only he, with all his knowledge, and travelling around in foreign parts and extra-terrestrial parts, would have been able to cure.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd if I reached out to him and said, \u2018Grandfather, I really need you because I\u2019m dying,\u2019 and he probably could whip up some concoction to cure her and they might stay together or not, who knows?\u201d<\/p>\n
