Money in the Bank is a ladder match that sees WWE superstars compete to win a briefcase which dangles 20ft above the ring. The briefcase contains a contract for a championship wrestling match at a time and place of the winner\u2019s choosing.<\/p>\n
The Money in the Bank match debuted at WrestleMania in 2005 but became a separate pay-per-view event in 2010. Now, it\u2019s one of the company\u2019s \u2018Big Five\u2019 and is known for getting dirty quickly, with high-flying stunts and falls being a big feature.<\/p>\n
The male and female winners from last year, Austin Theory and Liv Morgan, have already cashed in their victories, with Liv Morgan playing hers that very same night. At 2022\u2019s Money in the Bank, she defeated Ronda Rousey and won the SmackDown Women\u2019s Championship, the first title in her wrestling career. Meanwhile, Austin Theory was defeated on his cash-in by Seth Rollins.<\/p>\n

When and where is WWE Money in the Bank 2023?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Anywhere between five and 10 wrestlers can compete at Money in the Bank, but we won\u2019t know who\u2019s competing until nearer the time. Last year, the women\u2019s match had seven wrestlers while the men\u2019s match had eight and it took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s what we know about the date and venue for this year:<\/p>\n
1st July, 2023 \u2013 The O2, London<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>When and where is WWE Friday Night Smackdown 2023?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Smackdown is a weekly event that has been running on a Friday night since 2005, but in all that time it has never been broadcast live at UK primetime.<\/p>\n
This June, that changes with the flagship show coming to London and airing live on BT Sport<\/a> at 8pm GMT.<\/p>\n

Ticketmaster is selling Money in the Bank and Smackdown tickets together in a combo sale.<\/p>\n
Prices start at \u00a360 and go up to \u00a3750 for the best floor seats. Other price bands include \u00a390, \u00a3110, \u00a3130 and \u00a3200 for the outer edge of the arena. But if you want to sit closer to the ring then prices jump up significantly to \u00a3450, \u00a3600 and \u00a3750.<\/p>\n
When do WWE Money in the Bank and Smackdown tickets go on sale?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Pre-sale tickets went live at 1pm on Wednesday 22nd February. They were originally due to be released at 12pm but were pushed back thanks to unprecedented levels of demand.<\/p>\n
