Fans are thrilled to see Star Trek: Picard<\/a> back with season 3, with Sir Patrick Stewart<\/a> leading the charge.<\/p>\n

The legendary actor is back as Jean-Luc Picard for one final season of the show, but he\u2019s certainly not alone. Star Trek icons including<\/a> LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn and Gates McFadden who are reprising their roles as crew members Lt Commander Geordi La Forge, Worf and Dr Beverly Crusher.<\/p>\n

While we\u2019ve still got plenty more episodes to go, the season has started on a dramatic note, with a distress call and a brutal death in episodes 1 and 2.<\/p>\n

Safe to say, there will be plenty more drama to come from the eight remaining episodes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Actor Jeri Ryan previously revealed that season 3 will be the final season<\/a> of Picard, saying: \u201cAnd just like that, it\u2019s done. That\u2019s a series wrap on #StarTrekPicard. When a fan asked whether this meant future seasons weren\u2019t in the works, Ryan confirmed: \u201cNope, it was always intended to be 3 and done.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, it seems a fourth season isn\u2019t entirely off the cards, with series producer Alex Kurtzman previously telling TVLine<\/a>: \u201cWhen we started the series, Patrick and I talked about really wanting it to just be three years, feeling like we could really tell a complete story with the season you\u2019re now seeing as our endpoint.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat being said, anything is possible. If a show blows the doors off the place, as we\u2019re certainly hoping it will, and we\u2019re very, very proud of season 3, who knows.\u201d<\/p>\n
