Hogwarts Legacy has a wide range of things to collect, and all of them serve a purpose.<\/p>\n

Among the numerous collectibles found throughout the Wizarding World in Hogwarts Legacy<\/a> are the Demiguise Statues \u2014 golden figures that resemble a furry ape holding a moon-shaped ornament.<\/p>\n

While the statues mini-quest might seem like just another collection to avoid as you continue your journey, these\u00a0hidden treasures are essential to progression and enable you to upgrade one of the most useful spells in the game.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a Hogwarts Legacy trophy<\/a> once you get each of these Demiguise moons, and we all like those, right?<\/p>\n

There are 30 of these statues in total, but it\u2019s worth noting that you can only pocket them when it\u2019s nighttime in Hogwarts Legacy.<\/p>\n

So, if you\u2019re struggling to locate the pesky little Demiguise moon statues, read on for everything you need to know.<\/p>\n

Hogwarts Legacy Demiguise Statues: All moon locations<\/strong><\/h2>\n
If you\u2019re more of a visual learner, we\u2019ve found that the video below from YouTuber ESO is a very handy one for hunting down Demiguise Moons:<\/p>\n\n<p>You will find the first Demiguise statue after completing a quest from Gladwin Moon, Hogwarts\u2019 caretaker. In the quest, he teaches you the famous <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/technology\/gaming\/hogwarts-legacy-alohomora-lockpicking-spell\/"\" target=\""_blank"\" rel=\""noopener" noopener noreferrer\">Alohomora<\/a> unlocking spell (you\u2019ll need to use this to collect the statues\u2019 moons).<\/p>\n<p>By collecting the moons for Moon, he\u2019ll upgrade Alohomora for you. Get him 9 moons, he\u2019ll tell you how to unlock level 2 locks \u2013 13 moons, level 3 locks. So it\u2019s worth doing.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll also add that <strong>you can only collect the Demiguise statues at night time<\/strong>, so don\u2019t go looking in the day! Right, let\u2019s get started. We\u2019ll divide the list by region to keep it simple.<\/p> <h3><strong>Demiguise Statues in Hogwarts<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul><li><strong>Astronomy Wing: Professor Fig\u2019s Classroom<\/strong> \u2013 once you\u2019re in Fig\u2019s classroom, head to his office and it\u2019s right at the back, on a table near the fireplace.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Great Hall<\/strong> \u2013 on the right-hand side of the dining table, unlock the level 1 door and it\u2019s on a table in the centre of the room.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower<\/strong> \u2013 unlock the toilets, and once you\u2019re in, the statue should be behind the stall with the sign on the door.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Library Annex<\/strong> \u2013 head to the restricted section of the library, go all the way down to the basement, and it\u2019ll be just past the eye chest.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Divination<\/strong> <strong>Classroom<\/strong> \u2013 the classroom is up a spiral staircase near the library annex. Once you\u2019ve climbed the ladder and you\u2019re in the class, find the statue at the back.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hogwarts North Exit<\/strong> \u2013 once out of the gate, turn left and head towards the staircase and unlock the door in the wall, and it\u2019s on your right.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transfiguration Courtyard<\/strong> \u2013 once you\u2019re through the door by the fast travel point, unlock the door (we should add that this is a level 2 door, so you might need to come back for this one).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Potions Classroom<\/strong> \u2013 once again, this classroom is just off the library annex. Bear left, and open the level 1 door into the next hallway. The item is in a level 2 room, so make sure you\u2019ve unlocked level 2 before coming for this one.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Beast Classroom<\/strong> \u2013 just off the bell tower, it\u2019s inside the hut (another level 2).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Map Chamber<\/strong> \u2013 once back in the Hogwarts cistern, turn past the big stone dragon statue. There\u2019s a level 1 door, and a statue inside.<\/li>\n<\/ul> <div class=\""brightcove\" embed=\"\"> <div class=\""embedintrinsic"\"> <div class=\""brightcoveplayer\" vjs-playlist-player-container=\"\"> <video data-video-id=\"6312087194112\" data-account=\"69912529001\" data-player=\"ByeOf0VZEl\" data-embed=\""default"\" data-application-id=\"\" controls=\"\" class=\""video-js"\"> <\/video> <\/div> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<script src=\""\/\/players.brightcove.net\/69912529001\/ByeOf0VZEl_default\/index.min.js"\"\/> <h3><strong>Demiguise Statues\u00a0in Hogsmeade Village<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul><li><strong>Tomes and Scrolls<\/strong> \u2013 head to the shopkeeper\u2019s bedroom, and you\u2019ll find it right next to an Eye Chest.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hog\u2019s Head<\/strong> \u2013 head behind the bar, and the statue should be on the other side of the wall with the big (live) hog\u2019s head.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dervish and Banges<\/strong> \u2013 once you\u2019re in the shop, it should be on the counter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Three Broomsticks<\/strong> \u2013 go through the main door and climb the stairs right to the top. Unlock the door, and the statue will be on a table in the middle of the room.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hogsmeade House<\/strong> \u2013 if you\u2019re still near the Three Broomsticks, head to the house on the right. Unlock the door, and the statue is upstairs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hogsmeade House 2<\/strong> \u2013 head to the small house across the road from the Brood and Peck. Unlock the door, and the statue is just above the fireplace.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hogsmeade House 3<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 behind the Honeydukes shop there should be a small hut. Unlock the door and you should see it straight away!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hogsmeade House 4<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 this is the second house to your left in the alleyway just past Ollivanders. It\u2019s a level 2 lock, so, again, you might need to come back later.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hogsmeade House 5<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 finally, this house is next to J. Pippin Potion Shop. Another level 2.<\/li>\n<\/ul> <div class=\""brightcove\" embed=\"\"> <div class=\""embedintrinsic"\"> <div class=\""brightcoveplayer\" vjs-playlist-player-container=\"\"> <video data-video-id=\"6319592953112\" data-account=\"69912529001\" data-player=\"ByeOf0VZEl\" data-embed=\""default"\" data-application-id=\"\" controls=\"\" class=\""video-js"\"> <\/video> <\/div> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<script src=\""\/\/players.brightcove.net\/69912529001\/ByeOf0VZEl_default\/index.min.js"\"\/> <h3><strong>Demiguise Statues in Highlands<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul><li><strong>Northford Bog, Pitt-Upon-Ford<\/strong> \u2013 Head to the floo flame, and follow the path to a big house on the right. Once inside, head upstairs and the statue will be on the floor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Upper Hogsfield<\/strong> \u2013 head to the floo flame in Upper Hogsfield (northern part of Hogsmeade Valley), and follow the path to the house with the wheel leaning against the wall. Unlock the door, head inside, and you\u2019ll see the statue straight away.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aranshire<\/strong> \u2013 this is on the east side of South Hogwarts Region. Unlock the house closest house to the floo flame, and head upstairs for the statue.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lower Hogsfield<\/strong> \u2013 this area is in the South Hogwarts Region. There should be a house with a circular roof \u2013 head inside and look behind the door to find the statue.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Brocburrow<\/strong> \u2013 This area is in the northeastern section of Hogwarts Valley. Go to the centre of town, and head to the house near the well with a level 1 lock. The statue will be on the floor, to your left as soon as you enter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keenbridge<\/strong> \u2013 this area is in the centre of the Hogwarts Valley. Follow the path that heads west, and you should come across a house with pumpkins outside. Unlock the door, and there should be a statue right in front of you.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Feldcroft<\/strong> \u2013 head to the east side of Feldcroft, and look for the house with the clothesline on the roof. Head inside, and there should be a statue on the windowsill to your left.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Irondale<\/strong> \u2013 once you\u2019ve fast-travelled to Irondale, you should immediately see a house with a triangular roof. Head inside, and there should be a counter to your right \u2013 and a statue behind it!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marunweem<\/strong> \u2013 once in Marunweem, follow the path north from the floo flame and unlock the door to the first house on your right. The statue will be behind a bar to your left.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bainburgh<\/strong> \u2013 Bainburgh is in the northern section of Manor Cape. Head to the house immediately to your left (at the spawn point) and open the door. The statue will be on a table next to the armchair.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cragcroft<\/strong> \u2013 once in Cragcroft, head to the centre. It\u2019s a large area, but the centre is marked with a big tree. Once there, head north until you see a merchant with a stall. There\u2019s a house right behind her \u2013 head inside, go upstairs, and the statue will be on the bedside table.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope this list has been useful for you!
