The Russo Brothers\u2019 new project, Prime Video<\/a> series Citadel, is coming very soon and it looks as epic as expected.<\/p>\n

Starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas<\/a>, Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci<\/a>, the upcoming series will follow a spy agency, whose agents have had their memories wiped.<\/p>\n

As a powerful syndicate rises up against them, they need to recover their memories and fight back.<\/p>\n

A trailer for the show was recently released, showing Chopra\u2019s Agent Sinh and Madden\u2019s Agent Kane encountering each other for what is seemingly the first time \u2013 but being certain they recognise each other\u2019s faces.<\/p>\n

They remember an explosion, and not much else \u2013 and it\u2019s down to them to piece their memories back together.<\/p>\n

The Russo Brothers<\/a> have also teased how Chopra and Madden play \u201cmultiple versions of themselves\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new personalities come in conflict with their old personalities,\u201d Joe Russo recently explained. \u201cThat was the idea that I think most excited us, because I don\u2019t know that I\u2019ve ever seen that before, where you have multiple characters dealing with a crisis of personality and a crisis of conscience.\u201d<\/p>\n

The first two episodes of Citadel will be released on 28th April 2023 on Prime Video.<\/p>\n
