The family were only shown on the hit Channel 4 show for a couple of episodes in 2020. <\/p>

Chantelle Walker, her mother Elizabeth and sister Monique appeared in a couple of episodes of Channel 4\u2019s Gogglebox<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 but Chantelle has now spoken out about the show, saying that they were \u201cdisappointed\u201d to learn that they had been dropped after a few episodes.<\/p>\n

Appearing in the series in 2020, Chantelle has said that Gogglebox had initially put them on hiatus, but that there was then silence \u201cfor months\u201d. She said: \u201cThere was silence for a while and we didn\u2019t know what was going on for months. Then they dropped us, which was a shock.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even though producers had reportedly told the family that there weren\u2019t \u201cenough cameras\u201d to film,\u00a0Chantelle later found out their Gogglebox contract wasn\u2019t being renewed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was no discussion, we couldn\u2019t understand why \u2013 but what can you do when they tell you they don\u2019t want to film anymore?,\u201d she said.\u00a0\u201cPeople were shocked when we were dropped, even now they ask us when we are going back on.\u201d<\/p>

Filming in 2020 meant that the family were shooting the show during the pandemic and hired Airbnbs as they weren\u2019t able to use their own homes.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Sun<\/a> about their experience, Chantelle explained: \u201cIt was a really good experience doing Gogglebox\u2026 but it was a bit disappointing, I feel like we should have had more airtime but they chose to use less of us.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was fun but I wish it could have been for longer. If I was asked to go on Gogglebox again I would do it.\u201d<\/p>\n
