Star Wars actor Paul Grant has died at the age of 56, his family has confirmed.<\/span><\/p>\n Family members told The Sun<\/a> that Grant was found collapsed outside King\u2019s Cross station by police last Thursday afternoon (16th March).<\/span><\/p>\n The actor, who was best known for starring as an Ewok in Return of the Jedi<\/a>, was taken to hospital where he was declared brain dead.\u00a0<\/span>His life support machine was switched off on Sunday (19th March), his family confirmed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Grant\u2019s daughter Sophie Jayne Grant told the publication: \u201cI\u2019m devastated. My dad was a legend in so many ways.\u00a0<\/span>He always brought a smile and laughter to everyone\u2019s face.\u00a0<\/span>He would do anything for anyone and was a massive Arsenal fan.\u00a0He was an actor, father and grandad.<\/p>\n She added: He loved his daughters and son and his girlfriend Maria very much, as well as her kids who were like stepchildren to him.\u00a0My dad I love you so much sleep tight.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n His girlfriend, Maria Dwyer, described him as \u201cthe love of my life\u201d and \u201cthe funniest man I know.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>She continued: \u201cHe made my life complete. Life is never going to be the same without him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n As well as starring in Return of the Jedi, Grant\u2019s other acting credits include <\/span>the 1988 film Willow with Val Kilmer and 1985 Tom Cruise movie Legend.\u00a0<\/span>He also played a goblin in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher\u2019s Stone<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
