Debuting way back in FIFA 09, FIFA Ultimate Team is a mode that lets you build your dream team and play against others in the community (or against the computer in offline mode, if you\u2019re that way inclined). By playing this mode, you get to grab certain items by obtaining packs, which are themselves obtained by completing challenges and tasks.<\/p>\n

This cool mode is turning 14 years old (would you believe it), and to celebrate this anniversary, EA has added an FUT Birthday promo event to FIFA 23<\/a>. With this event comes new FUT Birthday ICON cards, new player items, and rewards you can unlock through the use of Swap Tokens.<\/p>\n

There are bound to be a few blasts from the past in the nostalgic event, so if you\u2019re an old school FIFA fan you\u2019ll not want to miss it. We\u2019ll share everything we know about the FIFA 23 FUT Birthday event here, including the Team 2 cards and how the swaps\/tokens work.<\/p>\n

How do FUT Birthday swaps work?<\/b><\/h2>\n

You can earn rewards for your FIFA 23 Ultimate Team squad by trading in Birthday Swap Tokens. In total, you can earn 30 Birthday Swap Tokens to spend in game on new items.<\/p>\n

You should unlock these Swap Tokens by completing Objectives, Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and in the FUT Store during the promo event which lasts up until Friday 7th April. Trade in those Swap Tokens for rewards via corresponding SBCs.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s worth noting that each reward can only be redeemed once, so make good use of those limited Swap Tokens!<\/p>
