Award-winning actress, singer and two-time RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race<\/a> winner Jinkx Monsoon is confirmed to be\u00a0joining the action for season 14.<\/p>\n Drag Race fans will undoubtedly recognise her after she won two seasons of the hit show, as well as taking part in the ultra competitive All Stars season where she took home the crown of \u201cQueen of Queens\u201d.<\/p>\n While details about Monsoon\u2019s new role remain closely guarded for now, we do know that she has been added to the cast in a \u201cmajor role\u201d, according to the BBC.<\/p> She joins the long-running sci-fi series after completing a sold-out run on Broadway, where she starred as Matron \u2018Mama\u2019 Morton in Chicago, making her the first drag queen to play the role and breaking box office records in the extended eight-week run of the show.<\/p>\n On the announcement of her new role, Monsoon said: \u201cI\u2019m honoured, thrilled, and utterly excited to join Doctor Who! Russell T Davies is a visionary and a brilliant writer \u2013 I can\u2019t wait to get into the weeds with him and the crew! I hope there\u2019s room in the TARDIS for my luggage.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking about the addition of Monsoon to the cast, showrunner Russell T Davies also commented: \u201cIn a galaxy of comets and supernovas, here comes the biggest star of all. Jinkx Monsoon is on a collision course with the TARDIS, and Doctor Who will never be the same again!\u201d<\/p>\n And that\u2019s not all the cast news for now, as it was also confirmed in this month\u2019s Doctor Who Magazine<\/a> that Bhav Joshi, Eilidh Loan, Pete MacHale, Miles Yekinni and Hemi Yeroham have all been cast in the new season<\/a>. They join Gatwa and Millie Gibson in currently unknown capacities.<\/p>\n While excitement continues to build for the new season, we are hearing more and more teasers about the incoming Doctor.<\/p>\n Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> following Ncuti Gatwa topping RadioTimes.com\u2019s TV 100 list<\/a>, Davies revealed<\/a>: \u201cSometimes you know you\u2019ve got a secret.
