House of the Dragon<\/a> season 2 has officially begun production.<\/p>\n After that shocker of an ending to season 1<\/a>, fans are clamouring for more Targaryen tales and we\u2019re one step closer to seeing Rhaenyra Targaryen<\/a> (Emma D\u2019Arcy), Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) and Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) back in action.<\/p>\n The official House of the Dragon Twitter<\/a> account shared a snap of the iconic Iron Throne on set, simply captioning it: \u201cIt\u2019s time to return to King\u2019s Landing. Season 2 of <\/span>#HouseoftheDragon<\/span> is now in production.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Ryan Condal, co-creator\/showrunner\/executive producer, said: \u201cHouse of the Dragon has returned. We are thrilled to be shooting again with members of our original family as well as new talents on both sides of the camera.<\/p>\n \u201cAll your favourite characters will soon be conspiring at the council tables, marching with their armies, and riding their dragons into battle. We can\u2019t wait to share what we have in store.\u201d<\/p>\n It’s time to return to King’s Landing.
