It\u2019s back! The galaxy\u2019s best adorable duo are back in business in The Mandalorian<\/a> season 3.<\/p>\n

The newly reunited Din Djarin, aka The Mandalorian<\/a> (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu, aka Baby Yoda<\/a>, are ready for more adventures as the story continues.<\/p>\n

The stakes are even higher this time around, with Djarin on his way back to Mandalore<\/a> to repent for his \u201ctransgressions\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, even though he left his Jedi training in The Book of Boba Fett<\/a>, Grogu appears to use more of his powers than this season.<\/p>\n

Also joining Pascal on the cast are stars including Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze<\/a>, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon<\/a> and Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, and Emily Swallows returns as The Armorer.<\/p>\n

As for what we can expect from the third season, Pascal told Empire<\/a>: \u201cWhat I love most about season 3 is how much the world opens up in terms of Mandalore and Mandalorians. That means so many different facets of culture, politics, and rules and discoveries. Delicious doors are flying wide open.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, teasing the season 3 finale<\/a>, Pascal\u2019s body double Brendan Wayne warned: \u201cSharing a photo on his Instagram Stories, he wrote: \u201cThe next episode is gonna make you wish you hadn\u2019t asked for more\u2026 it might just hurt too much.\u201d<\/p>\n

The short answer is yes! Although Disney Plus<\/a> hasn\u2019t officially announced it, showrunner Jon Favreau confirmed last year that he was already working on season 4 of the series way before season 3 was ever released.<\/p>\n

He explained that Dave Filoni\u2019s writing for Ahsoka<\/a>, which is coming this year, actually informed what he was working on.<\/p>\n

The writer told CinemaBlend<\/a>: \u201cWith television, we\u2019re very lucky that we don\u2019t have to rush things through into an hour-and-a-half, two hours. We get to tell stories slowly.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo now, as Dave [Filoni]\u2019s doing Ahsoka, it\u2019s very much informing the writing that I\u2019m doing for [The Mandalorian] season 4. It becomes \u2013 how should I put it \u2013 more precise.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two series, along with Skeleton Crew<\/a>, are expected to build to a cinematic film directed by Dave Filoni.<\/p>\n

When could a potential The Mandalorian season 4 be released?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Mandalorian season 4 is predicted to be released in 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no official release date for The Mandalorian season 4 just yet. While there was only a year between seasons 1 and 2 of the show, the pandemic caused a big delay for season 3, resulting in a three-year gap.<\/p>\n

Considering season 4 is already being written, we could see Disney Plus reverting to the original schedule and setting a 2024 release date.<\/p>\n

From Favreau\u2019s comments, it seems Ahsoka<\/a> will set up The Mandalorian season 4 \u2013 so will be essential viewing for any Mando fans before building to Dave Filioni\u2019s event film<\/a>.<\/p>\n
