Mary’s current love will end in disaster. <\/p>
Viewers of Emmerdale<\/a> have been enjoying seeing Mary (Louise Jameson) explore her love life after coming out as a lesbian.<\/p>\n And while she\u2019s been getting close to Faye, Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson has confirmed she won\u2019t get her happily ever after here.<\/p>\n In fact, the showrunner teased Mary will find herself the victim of a \u201cheartbreaking\u201d scam.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve got a lovely love story playing on screen with Mary. It\u2019s her first relationship since coming out and she\u2019s been really vulnerable, and really put herself out there.<\/p> \u201cUnfortunately, it\u2019s not going to be a happy ending; Mary\u2019s going to have her heart broken.\u201d<\/p>\n Going into more detail, Hudson said: \u201cI think what\u2019s really relevant for this story is how easy it is to be scammed, and how easy it is for love to stop us thinking logically. It doesn\u2019t matter what age you are, we\u2019re all vulnerable to being tricked or scammed and being catfished.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a really heartbreaking story and Louise is just brilliant. She played it with a little bit of humour, but there\u2019s such sadness. I really enjoyed that story.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Hudson confirmed there\u2019s also going to be another secret to mysterious Nicky (Lewis Cope).<\/p>\n The dishy newcomer won over Gabby with his charms but it was really just to get close to Kim Tate (Claire King) in order to rid her of her wealth so his dad, Caleb, can claim what\u2019s rightfully his as Frank Tate\u2019s son.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is still something else to find out, which I\u2019m not going to tell you, but not all the secrets have been revealed yet.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is something else you\u2019re going to learn and there is going to be someone from Nicky\u2019s past turning up as well and you\u2019ll be left wondering what that means for Gabby.
