What *else* is he hiding? <\/p>
ITV soap Emmerdale<\/a> only just revealed a huge bombshell surrounding Nicky<\/a> (Lewis Cope), but there\u2019s something else viewers don\u2019t know about him just yet.<\/p>\n The dashing newcomer won over Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and it wasn\u2019t long before the happy couple were engaged to be married.<\/p>\n But Nicky was too good to be true and in gripping scenes, viewers found out he was actually Caleb\u2019s (William Ash) son, and the pair were trying to take down Kim Tate (Claire King) because Caleb is the rightful heir to Frank Tate\u2019s wealth!<\/p> While we thought Nicky\u2019s only secret was how much he hated Gabby and was using her for her proximity to Kim, it seems he might be hiding something else, too.<\/p>\n Speaking to press including RadioTimes.com<\/a> at a recent event, Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson teased the upcoming drama.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is still something else to find out, which I\u2019m not going to tell you, but not all the secrets have been revealed yet. I appreciate all your theories!<\/p>\n \u201cThere is something else you\u2019re going to learn and there is going to be someone from Nicky\u2019s past turning up as well and you\u2019ll be left wondering what that means for Gabby. They\u2019re planning a wedding\u2026 is that going to go off?\u201d<\/p>\n As for the actual secret, viewers will have to keep watching to find out what else Nicky could be hiding from his fianc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n Hudson also hinted there\u2019s heartache on the way for Mary (Louise Jameson).<\/p>\n \u201cAt the moment, you\u2019ve seen Mary falling in love in her first relationship since coming out and she\u2019s been really vulnerable. Unfortunately, it\u2019s not going to be a happy ending; Mary\u2019s going to have her heart broken.\u201d<\/p>\n Hudson added how Rhona\u2019s mum will find herself \u201cscammed\u201d at the hands of a \u201ccatfish\u201d, ultimately resulting in a \u201cheartbreaking story\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cLouise is just brilliant,\u201d Hudson added. \u201cAnd she played it with a little bit of humour, but there\u2019s such sadness.
