Jinkx Monsoon’s antagonist has already been described as “the Doctor’s most powerful enemy yet”. <\/p>
There have been a lot of exciting Doctor Who<\/a> announcements in recent days, from costume reveals<\/a> for the Fifteenth Doctor and his companion to teasers about brand new villains<\/a>.<\/p>\n And now, returning showrunner Russell T Davies has warned fans that not every character will survive their clash with the new antagonist played by RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race star Jinkx Monsoon.<\/p> The BBC had already described Monsoon\u2019s character as \u201cthe Doctor\u2019s most powerful enemy yet\u201d when first-look images were released earlier in the week \u2013 and now, Davies has got in on the act of describing the baddie.<\/p>\n Posting a still of the character on Instagram<\/a>, Davies teased: \u201cJinkx Monsoon as\u2026 well who can that be?!\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cSO much fun! So much terror! And not everyone is getting out of this alive\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n It certainly seems like the villain will spell trouble for the new Doctor and Ruby Sunday (Mille Gibson<\/a>), although we\u2019ll have to wait a little while longer before any more official information comes to light about the character.<\/p>\n Of course, that isn\u2019t likely to stop Whovians from speculating about Monsoon\u2019s role, and some fans have already landed on one interesting theory: that she could be taking part in the sci-fi show\u2019s first ever musical episode.<\/p>\n The theory is based both on Monsoon\u2019s past as a Broadway performer and the prominent piano keys on her costume. We\u2019ll certainly be keeping our eyes peeled for any more clues.<\/p>
