This season was billed as the show\u2019s final outing, but showrunner Terry Matalas has repeatedly said that he would like to follow this series up with a Star Trek: Legacy<\/a> spin-off.<\/p>\n Fans are now desperate to see this come to fruition, not least to see what\u2019s next for Ed Speelers\u2019 character Jack after that<\/em> post-credits scene.<\/p>\n Well, it turns out they may be in luck, as another of the series\u2019 stars has now expressed interest in returning for more adventures \u2013 none other than Jean-Luc Picard\u2019s Sir Patrick Stewart.<\/p>\n In an interview with Variety<\/a> following the show\u2019s finale, Stewart was asked whether he would be interested in returning, to which he said: \u201cYes. The circumstances, as it was with Picard, would be the important factor in all of that.
