Despite answering some<\/em> of our burning questions, such as what happened to Jackie\u2019s body<\/a> after she died, there are still plenty of mysteries that have yet to be solved in Yellowjackets<\/a> \u2013 a number of which star Melanie Lynskey doesn\u2019t even have the answers to.<\/p>\n The actor, who plays present day Shauna, told RadioTimes.com<\/a> in an exclusive interview that she asked \u201cso many questions\u201d when she initially joined the show, adding: \u201cI was terrified of signing onto something where the people did not have a roadmap of where they wanted it to go.<\/p>\n \u201cMy biggest fear was that they had a cool pilot and they didn\u2019t have anything to back it up, but they put my fears to rest. They told me the whole outline of season 1, everything that happened \u2013 then you have a lover, and then you kill your lover. All of that.\u201d<\/p> Lynskey went on to say that she no longer grills the writers about what\u2019s in store because she has \u201cso much trust now\u201d, and was also conscious of \u201cbeing annoying\u201d, which means she\u2019s in the dark about what season 3 will bring.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t have any clue,\u201d she said. \u201cI know from when they initially pitched it to me what their initial plan was for one aspect, but I don\u2019t know if they\u2019re going to end up doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n Lynskey also reflected on Shauna\u2019s \u201cdark\u201d relationship with her teenage daughter Callie. \u201cI think that she feels terrible [about Callie being dragged into the Adam Martin saga],\u201d she reflected<\/a>. \u201cShe feels really bad about it.<\/p>\n \u201cOn the one hand, she\u2019s grateful because there are a couple of times where Callie steps in and saves her in a way.
