Could a return of Rosie Webster be on the Corrie cards sooner than we think? <\/p>
Former Coronation Street<\/a> star and upcoming I\u2019m a Celebrity South Africa<\/a> contestant Helen Flanagan<\/a> has spoken about her plans of returning to the beloved cobbles.<\/p>\n The South African-set spin-off show will see some of the series\u2019s past faces take on a slew of new Bushtucker Trials, but in the run up to the show\u2019s release, Flanagan has revealed more about her hopes of returning to Corrie.<\/p>\n During an interview on Loose Women, she said that she\u2019d like for her on-screen character of Rosie Webster to be a mother on the soap.<\/p>\n She revealed:\u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t know why, but I\u2019d love Rosie to be a mum. I would love to come back at some point and play that.\u201d<\/p> Flanagan has played the role of Rosie since 2000 and planned on returning after having her third child, but she postponed after suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum (severe vomiting).<\/p>\n She also teased that it would be nice to see on-screen mum Sally Metcalfe, played by Sally Dynevor, be a grandmother in the soap, adding: \u201cI think that would be great, especially with Sally being a grandma, that kind of thing.
