The concert to mark King Charles III\u2019s coronation<\/a> on the first weekend of May was already shaking up to be a star-studded affair \u2013 and now a host of other big names have been confirmed for the event.<\/p>\n

Paloma Faith, Steve Winwood, and Nicole Scherzinger are among the latest musicians to be announced, while it\u2019s also been revealed there will be video appearances from huge stars such as Tom Cruise, Dame Joan Collins, and Sir Tom Jones.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, even Winnie the Pooh is getting in on the action, with the honey-loving bear set to play a role in the concert.<\/p>\n

The likes of Take That, Andrea Bocelli, and Katy Perry had already been confirmed to perform at Windsor Castle, while Ncuti Gatwa, Hugh Bonneville and other actors<\/a> will take part in a collaboration between the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Opera, the Royal Ballet and the Royal Colleges of Music and Art.<\/p>\n

When is the Coronation Concert?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Coronation Concert will take place on\u00a0Sunday 7th May\u00a0<\/strong>at Windsor Castle, the day after King Charles III\u2019s coronation.<\/p>\n

The concert, which is to mark the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, begins at 8pm.<\/p>\n

Those who weren\u2019t able to secure tickets for the concert will be able to tune in to watch live coverage on BBC One and BBC iPlayer,\u00a0<\/strong>with the channel broadcasting the coronation performances.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds will also be covering the Coronation Concert.<\/p>\n

Coronation Concert performance line-up<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Taking to the stage at the Coronation Concert is an eclectic mix of musical acts and icons who\u2019ll be performing their hits.<\/p>\n

One of the standout stars of the concert is Katy Perry, who is best known for her hits California Gurls and Firework, and is an ambassador of the British Asian Trust.<\/p>\n

In a statement, she said: \u201cI am excited to be performing at the Coronation Concert, and helping to shine a further light on the British Asian Trust\u2019s Children\u2019s Protection Fund, whose work includes on-ground initiatives to fundraising, with the aim to find solutions to child trafficking.\u201d<\/p>\n
