The fifth and final season of Stranger Things<\/a> has been hit by a production delay due to the ongoing writers\u2019 strike in the US.<\/p>\n The news was confirmed by the show\u2019s creators on the official Stranger Things Writers Twitter account, with the Duffer brothers explaining that it wouldn\u2019t be possible to press on with the planned schedule since the writing process continued during filming.<\/p>\n \u201cDuffers here. Writing does not stop when filming begins,\u201d the Tweet read. \u201cWhile we\u2019re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike.\u201d<\/p>\n It continued: \u201cWe hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work.
