Speaking on the <\/span>red carpet for the<\/span>\u00a0at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday (14th May), RadioTimes.com<\/a> asked Berry, who portrays vampire Lazlo in the series, how many more seasons could be on the cards.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s not up to me,\u201d he mused. \u201cWe\u2019re about to do the sixth. I think only four have come out here, but they\u2019re on Disney Plus<\/a>. I don\u2019t know how many there\u2019s going to be after that, but it\u2019s not my decision.<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of harnesses and stunts and stuff. I might be getting a bit too old for that! I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n \u201cBut you know I\u2019m supposed to be undead, so the rules don\u2019t apply do they,\u201d he joked.<\/p> Inspired by a 2014 indie film and created by Thor: Love and Thunder<\/a> director Taika Waititi and Flight of the Conchords performer Jemaine Clement, the series revolves around the misadventures of a group of vampires who share a house in Staten Island, New York City.<\/p>\n What We Do in the Shadows was renewed for both season 5 and 6 at FX back in June 2022 ahead of the fourth season\u2019s premiere.<\/p>\n Nick Grad, president of original programming for FX Entertainment, said at the time: \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of life left in our favourite vampires from Staten Island and FX couldn\u2019t be more thrilled to commit to two additional seasons of this phenomenal series.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n He continued: \u201cWhat We Do in the Shadows excels on every level, from the brilliant cast and surprising guest stars to the producers, writers, directors and crew.
