Cast your minds back to 2012. The Eurovision Song Contest<\/a> was being held in Baku, Azerbaijan and Swedish superstar Loreen was lifting the iconic microphone trophy.<\/p>\n Eleven years later, Loreen<\/a> is back with another Eurovision banger \u2013 Tattoo \u2013 which has quickly become the bookies\u2019 favourite to win.<\/p>\n The Swedish entry caught up with Radio Times Magazine recently to chat ahead of her appearance in the Grand Final.<\/p> What was the biggest Eurovision lesson you gained from your win in 2012?<\/strong><\/p>\n I followed the flow. I\u2019m a shy person, and people were saying things like, \u201cWhy is she barefoot?\u201d and \u201cI can\u2019t see her eyes.\u201d But you have to be authentic.<\/p>\n At what point did you realise victory was yours?<\/strong><\/p>\n Going into the contest, I didn\u2019t want to know anything about it, the rules or anything. So when we got the scores, I didn\u2019t understand why people were cheering. I leant across to my producer and asked, \u201cAre the people going to vote now?\u201d He replied, \u201cYou\u2019ve won!\u201d<\/p>\n Describe that moment as best you can.<\/strong><\/p>\n It changed everything. I was standing there and realised, \u201cThis is what happens when you follow your intuition.\u201d There was so much love in the arena. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever been through.<\/p>\n And you\u2019re back. Why now?<\/strong><\/p>\n You think you know where you\u2019re going, but sometimes\u2026 I never thought in my wildest dreams this would happen. I kept saying, \u201cLife, are you sure you want me to go this way?\u201d But it was my path.<\/p>\n What\u2019s the secret of a Eurovision-winning song?<\/strong><\/p>\n Whether it\u2019s a ballad or a rock song, it needs to come from an authentic place; everything has to be real.
