With only one episode left to go in Ted Lasso<\/a> season 3, it continues to seem more and more likely that Jason Sudeikis<\/a>\u2018s coach will soon be leaving AFC Richmond \u2013 and a huge cliffhanger appears to have now almost confirmed as much.<\/p>\n Today\u2019s penultimate episode saw Ted\u2019s mother make an impromptu visit, seemingly out of the blue. However, at the end of the episode she confessed she had visited to tell him that his son Henry misses him.<\/p>\n Ted responded that he misses Henry too, but that he\u2019s scared to get close to him because one day he will leave. Ted\u2019s mother appeared to convince him to let Henry in and the next day Ted returned to Richmond with a melancholy look in his eye.<\/p>\n He found Rebecca waiting for him in his office and she told him that it was the time of year where she would usually \u201creveal something\u201d, as in seasons 1 and 2. She told him she had no \u201ctruth-bomb\u201d this year, but Ted then simply said: \u201cI got one.\u201d<\/p>\n With the episode cutting to the credits there, it remains to be seen what Ted will tell Rebecca, but it certainly seems as though he might be about to tell her he\u2019s leaving, returning home to America to be with Henry.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n This would certainly explain the repeated references<\/a> the cast have made to this being the end of a three-season arc for Ted Lasso.<\/p>\n For instance, Sudeikis said earlier this year: \u201cThis is the end of this story that we wanted to tell, that we were hoping to tell, that we loved to tell. The fact that folks will want more and are curious beyond more than what they don\u2019t even know yet \u2014 that being season 3 \u2014 it\u2019s flattering.<\/p>\n \u201cMaybe by 31st May, once all 12 episodes of the season [have been released], they\u2019re like, \u2018Man, you know what, we get it, we\u2019re fine. We don\u2019t need anymore, we got it.\u2019 But until that time comes, I will appreciate the curiosity beyond what we\u2019ve come up with so far.\u201d<\/p> Meanwhile, Nate star Nick Mohammed told RadioTimes.com<\/a> that he would \u201clove\u201d for the show to continue, but admitted that there is a \u201ccertain element of catharsis the way this season ends<\/a>\u201c.<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cI don\u2019t write on the show so I can\u2019t say. I genuinely don\u2019t know, I\u2019m not being coy.
