Will Linda Carter ever repair her friendship with Sharon Watts in EastEnders? <\/p>

Actress Kellie Bright has spoken about her concerns of an \u201ceverlasting\u201d feud between Linda Carter and Sharon Watts in EastEnders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fans are aware that Linda strung along best friend Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) as a potential buyer of shares in the Queen Vic pub but then sold the shares in secret to her mother Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) instead.<\/p>\n

Sharon was furious and felt betrayed by Linda<\/a>, leaving their friendship shattered despite Linda turning apologetic \u2013 and some feeling that Sharon deserved better<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, as the weeks progress, it seems issues will continue to fester between Linda and Sharon, but will it go on forever?<\/p>\n

Speaking at a press event to launch the arrival of Elaine\u2019s partner George Knight<\/a> (Colin Salmon) and his daughters Anna (Molly Rainford) and Gina (Francesca Henry), actress Kellie Bright discussed the ongoing issues with Sharon.<\/p>

Actress Kellie Bright noted: \u201cWell, there is tension brewing because, as you know, Sharon thought that she was in line to take over the Vic with Linda and I sort of thwarted her at the last minute and brought my mum in.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo yes, there is tension between the two of them. All I can say is I hope it doesn\u2019t last too long because I love Tish!<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully it won\u2019t be an everlasting feud.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Linda will face greater tension with the arrival of Elaine\u2019s partner George Knight (Colin Salmon), who she does trust \u2013 as far as she could throw him!<\/p>\n

Linda is very scarred by Janine,\u201d reminded Bright. \u201cOkay, so for her, everyone is the enemy and no one is to be trusted. Especially not this man who, as far as she\u2019s concerned, her mum does not know nearly well enough and so, you know, she\u2019s already starting from that place.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no openness. There\u2019s no like, \u2018Oh, I\u2019m just gonna see who these people are and get to know them.\u2019 It\u2019s completely like, \u2018No, you\u2019re gonna have to prove yourself to me,\u2019 and, like I say, she\u2019s scarred by what\u2019s happened to her.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, will George and the girls prove themselves to Linda?<\/p>\n
