It\u2019s been more than 15 years since Michael Bay launched the Transformers film franchise<\/a> \u2013 and close to five years since the previous entry in the franchise \u2013 but this week the Autobots are back for their latest big-screen adventure.<\/p>\n

As was the case with the last film Bumblebee, Bay has moved on to a producer role rather than directing, but his unique brand of Bayhem is still firmly stamped on the new film, which is subtitled Rise of the Beasts.<\/p>\n

The film serves as both a sequel to 2018\u2019s Bumblebee<\/a> and<\/em> a prequel to the original Transformers film and introduces a species of Transformers known as the Maximals \u2013 who take the shape of extremely large animals and become embroiled in a war with the malevolent Terrorcons.<\/p>\n

Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback are the human stars of the movie, which also features a star-studded voice cast including the likes of Pete Davidson, Peter Dinklage, and Michelle Yeoh.<\/p>\n
