Four islanders from season 10 have now been sent packing. <\/p>

Love Island summer 2023 is in full swing, with plenty of drama, recouplings and, of course, dumpings.<\/p>\n

The first contestant to depart from the Love Island<\/a> villa was George Fensom<\/a> after previous partner Jess, who the public coupled him up with, chose to partner with Sammy<\/a> during the show\u2019s first recoupling<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Islander Ruchee<\/a><\/span> was next to leave after ending up in the bottom two with Ella Thomas<\/a> on Wednesday (14th June), who in the end was saved by her co-stars over Ruchee.<\/span><\/p>\n

And there were two more departures during last night\u2019s episode<\/a> (Friday, 16th June) of the popular dating show following a public vote.<\/p>\n

Charlotte Sumner<\/span><\/a>, Leah, and Catherine were the least favourite amongst the girls, while, <\/span>Zachariah Noble<\/span><\/a>, Sammy and <\/span>Andr\u00e9<\/span><\/a> received the least votes for the boys. <\/span><\/p>\n

Andre Furtado became the latest contestant to leave the villa after after being voted out by his fellow contestants during Friday night\u2019s episode (16th June).<\/p>\n

Andre said being dumped had been \u201ca real shocker\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course we know the saying \u2018expect the unexpected\u2019 has to be in our heads in the villa, but we get caught up in just living in the moment day to day,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo be honest, I acknowledge it wasn\u2019t an easy decision. Personally I would have loved to stay.<\/p>\n

\u201cMainly because me and Catherine (Agbaje) had done a full circle, branching out and then coming back to each other. It showed the strength in our connection.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhereas with the other two, they were still dabbling to see which connection they were gravitating more towards.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut there\u2019s no hard feelings at all. Of course I would have liked it to go a different route and further develop my connection with Catherine, however, as I\u2019ve said, you\u2019ve got to expect the unexpected.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlotte was forced to wave goodbye to the villa last night (Friday, 16th June) after a public vote saw her receive the least amount of votes alongside Leah and Catherine.<\/span><\/p>\n

While all three girls were at risk of being dumped from the island, in the end it was Charlotte that the other islanders chose not to save.<\/p>\n

Charlotte said that being dumped had come as a surprise, but that there were no hard feelings.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t a shock that I got chosen to leave,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t think the girls would send Catherine home because she was \u2018day dot\u2019. I knew it would be between me and Leah, so I thought they\u2019d save Leah because she had more of a connection.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have no hard feelings at all. I had the best time and I\u2019m so grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the 24-year-old was previously coupled up with Jess, as chosen by the public, it was quickly revealed that the two didn\u2019t share a romantic connection. Although the pair got on as friends, they admitted they weren\u2019t what each other were looking for, leaving both of them somewhat single and looking elsewhere for connections in the villa.<\/p>\n

Throughout the first week, George has attempted to get to know Molly and more recently, Whitney, but it wasn\u2019t enough to form a solid connection in the run up to the surprise recoupling. Jess recoupled with new bombshell Sammy, leaving George as the only boy who wasn\u2019t picked. He\u2019s the first islander to exit the villa.<\/p>\n

Upon leaving the villa, George said: \u201cI\u2019ve had an absolute blast, dropping loose game and making everyone laugh. The experiences I\u2019ve had, the people I\u2019ve met and the lifelong friendships that I\u2019ve formed have made my Villa experience very worthwhile. I wish everyone in there the best Villa experience and I can\u2019t wait to see them all on the outside.\u201d<\/p>
