In upcoming scenes of Corrie<\/a>, Sarah goes out for a drink with her friend Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown). A sip of wine makes her immediately realises something is off.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s this point where she\u2019s like \u2018Oh, my, god\u2019, a bomb goes off in her head,\u201d O\u2019Brien told press including RadioTimes.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just the worst thing in the world ever obviously because she knows it\u2019s a 50\/50 situation and she has no idea whose the baby is,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s more likely to be Adam\u2019s as they\u2019ve slept together more, but she knows one of the times with Damon she didn\u2019t use protection. She realises at this point that she\u2019s pretty much blown up her entire life, it\u2019s her worst nightmare.\u201d<\/p> After confessing her infidelity, Sarah agreed to try for a baby with Adam, but O\u2019Brien explained her character may not have been completely honest.<\/p>\n \u201cI think if she\u2019d have been a bit more honest with her feelings she\u2019d have said it wasn\u2019t the right time for her, her career is doing really well,\u201d the actress said of Sarah.<\/p>\n \u201cLeft to her own devices I don\u2019t think she would have had any more children. But she was trying to do the right thing for her marriage and her relationship,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n \u201cNow she\u2019s taken that and jumped all over because she\u2019s got to make the decision to tell Adam the truth of the situation and she doesn\u2019t know what he\u2019s going to do or how that is going to play out.\u201d<\/p>\n In upcoming scenes, Sarah is seen going for a DNA appointment to ascertain the paternity of the baby.<\/p>\n \u201cI think she\u2019s just devastated and ashamed at this point, at the position that she\u2019s put herself in and everyone around her,\u201d O\u2019Brien said.<\/p>\n \u201cI think she\u2019s got huge regret for all the things she\u2019s done and she\u2019s just hoping and praying to get the answers that she wants.\u201d<\/p>\n How will Adam react to finding out the baby he\u2019s wanted so much may not be his?
