In the Letter from the Showrunner section of the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine<\/a>, Davies revealed that he has already started writing the 2025 season \u2013 with four scripts currently on the go simultaneously.<\/p> He teased that one of those episodes would include the words \u201cgarden\u201d, \u201cfirmament\u201d and \u201cdiploma\u201d \u2013 not much to go on perhaps, but still more than enough to give fans something new to speculate about.<\/p>\n In the same section, Davies also revealed that the words \u201ckingdom\u201d, \u201cgold\u201d and \u201cTigella\u201d would feature in the more imminent season\u2019s eighth episode, which still hasn\u2019t gone into production.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Season 14 will be the first to feature Fifteenth Doctor Ncuti Gatwa<\/a> and his new companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson), and will begin airing in late 2023, most likely over the festive period, following the 60th-anniversary trilogy in November.<\/p>\n Whovians have recently been treated to a slew of casting updates and news about the new run, with the likes of \u00a0RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race star Jinkx Monsoon<\/a>, BAFTA winner Lenny Rush<\/a>, and Jonathan Groff<\/a> among those to be confirmed.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, it was also revealed earlier this month that Doctor Who<\/a> legend Bonnie Langford is returning to the show as classic companion Mel Bush for season 14, in which she will be \u201cright in the thick of the action\u201d.<\/p>\n The latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine is out now.
