It\u2019s been a few months since The Circle USA<\/a> gave us its second series, however the show has some very exciting news \u2013 particularly in light of Channel 4\u2019s axing of the British original<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Netflix has renewed The Circle for a third season and its landing on our screens next month, with the four-part series dropping new episodes each week throughout September.<\/p>\n

The streamer announced season three\u2019s release date over the weekend with a short teaser trailer on Twitter, writing: \u201cCircle, Message: Have you missed us? THE CIRCLE SEASON 3 DROPS SEPTEMBER 8TH ONLY ON NETFLIX!\u201d<\/p>\n

Michelle Buteau will be returning to host the series, which will see eight new contestants attempt to flirt, befriend and schmooze their way to $100,000 on the show\u2019s unique social media platform, playing either as themselves or as a catfish.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, DeLeesa St. Agathe won season two<\/a> as her husband Trevor, while Too Hot To Handle\u2019s Chloe Veitch came in second.<\/p>\n

The Circle USA season 3 release date<\/h2>\n

The Circle season three will premiere on Netflix on\u00a0Wednesday 8th September<\/strong>, with new episodes being released weekly from that point onwards.<\/p>\n

The Circle USA is hosted by American stand-up comedian Michelle Buteau, who narrates each episode.<\/p>\n

The New Jersey-born actress has starred in a number of TV shows, from Key and Peele and Russian Doll to Bless the Harts. She has also appeared in films such as Someone Great, Isn\u2019t It Romantic, Always Be My Maybe, Happiest Season and the upcoming Jennifer Lopez-Owen Wilson movie Marry Me.<\/p>\n

The Circle USA season three contestants<\/h2>\n

Netflix is yet to announce which contestants will be heading into The Circle\u2019s flats, and is unlikely to do so until the season is just about to start.<\/p>\n

Season two\u2019s line-up<\/a> featured a number of interesting players, from social media influencer Courtney Revolution and Too Hot to Handle contestant Chloe Veitch, to professional volleyball player Khat Bell and Lance Bass\u2019s assistant Lisa Delcampo. Who knows who we\u2019ll be seeing on series three.<\/p>\n

The Circle USA is surprisingly filmed in the same building as its British cousin<\/a> \u2013 an apartment building in Salford, Manchester.<\/p>\n

While skylines of US cities Milwaukee and Chicago are edited into the show, the American contestants are actually living in a block of flats in Manchester, containing 12 furnished apartments, each valued at around \u00a3145,000 back in 2019.<\/p>\n

The much-anticipated final of The Circle USA season two arrived on Netflix today (Wednesday 5th May), with each of the show\u2019s final five hoping to take home the $100,000 prize pot.<\/p>\n

However, it was New York-based Deleesa Carrasquillo who emerged as this season\u2019s champion, having played the game as her 32-year old husband Trevor.<\/p>\n

Too Hot To Handle<\/a>\u2018s Chloe Veitch came in second place, while influencer Courtney Revolution placed third.<\/p>\n
