And we\u2019re not the only ones \u2013 as the islanders were visibly shocked by the departure of contestant Molly Marsh<\/a> at the end of Friday\u2019s episode.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n After her partner Zachariah Noble<\/a> was chosen to couple up with new bombshell Kady McDermott<\/a>, Molly received a text saying she was single and had been dumped from the Island.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n However, as we all know, life in the villa moves at lightning speed \u2013 as Zach chose to remain in Mallorca and get to know Kady.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Ella Thomas<\/a> and Tyrique Hyde<\/a>\u2019s relationship also took another battering \u2013 after Ty seemed totally indifferent that they could have been in the same situation as Molly and Zach, if Kady had paired up with him instead.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The episode also saw the return of the heart rate challenge, and the results made for some\u00a0very<\/em> interesting viewing!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n If you missed Sunday\u2019s show, then don\u2019t worry \u2013 RadioTimes.com<\/a> has you covered with our handy recap video.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Read on to find out everything that happened on episode 21 of Love Island\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The episode began where we last left the islanders \u2013 in the aftermath of Molly\u2019s brutal dumping from the villa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As she sobbed in Zachariah\u2019s arms, her partner could be heard telling the actress: \u201cI love you so much. You know that, don\u2019t you?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n But despite Molly\u2019s tears, the boys succeeded in getting Zach to continue his journey on the programme \u2013 and he wasted no time at all in pulling his new pairing Kady for a chat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Revealing that it was a \u201cnice surprise\u201d to be picked by the new bombshell, Zach continued: \u201cMe and Molly were good, but it was still very early days. If it\u2019s meant to be, it\u2019s meant to be.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Tyrique \u2013 who was very close to being in Zach\u2019s position \u2013 also seemed to think the pair should give their new partnership a chance, and told the boys that if he was in the personal trainer\u2019s shoes, he would say: \u201cLater, Molly \u2013 she\u2019s gone, it\u2019s done, it\u2019s done, it\u2019s done. Kady\u2019s in my bed now, done.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Elsewhere, Sammy Root<\/a> and Jess Harding<\/a> had yet another tense chat. The pair were not allowed to recouple with each other, and Sammy described seeing his former partner with Mitchel Taylor<\/a> as \u201chorrible\u201d and asked Jess if she still wanted to get to know each other.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n When Jess answered, \u201cI\u2019d rather just close it off now,\u201d Sammy encouraged her to sleep on it \u2013 which didn\u2019t go down well with Sammy\u2019s current partner Mal Nicol<\/a> when Jess told her!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The next morning, Kady and Zach discussed their feelings with different groups, and Kady \u2013 who still felt slightly guilty \u2013 admitted to the girls: \u201cIf he was completely closed off, I would never have picked him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n During another chat, Zach told her they should \u201ctake it easy for now, for sure\u201d, and later revealed in the Beach Hut: \u201cIf anyone was able to turn my head, it would have been her. She\u2019s definitely a beautiful woman.\u201d Molly, who?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The subject of Tyrique also came up in Kady\u2019s chat with the girls, as she described the semi-professional footballer as \u201cflirty\u201d, to which a savage Whitney Adebayo<\/a> replied: \u201cHe\u2019d flirt with a wall, that boy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She went on to explain how Ella thought they had got through the \u201ctest\u201d of their relationship after Leah Taylor<\/a> entered the villa, but now Kady had turned his head again \u2013 to which the returning islander fumed: \u201cI ain\u2019t no maths test!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n After Ty smugly told the boys that he was glad Kady had chosen Zach over him, as he now got to explore his options with both women in the villa \u2013 boasting \u201cit\u2019s a win-win sort of thing\u201d \u2013 Ella pulled her partner for a chat where she expressed the hurt she was feeling to always being sidelined.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n But telling her he \u201cmisses the game\u201d of being single, Tyrique defensively said, \u201cIf being closed off is what you want, I can\u2019t give it to you right now,\u201d before storming off.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Ella then repeated the conversation to Jess, Whitney and Catherine Agbaje<\/a> \u2013 who the previous night had encouraged the Scottish model to go after Montel McKenzie<\/a> instead \u2013 and tearfully told them: \u201cIt\u2019s just f***ing embarrassing for me.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cFor him it\u2019s just for f***ing fun. I just can\u2019t believe that this is me, that I\u2019m that girl.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She later took a timeout in the bedroom with Whitney, and said: \u201cI need to take a step back because he is literally having his cake and eating it, too.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t be giving out your heart for free,\u201d Whitney agreed. \u201cStop expecting things from him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Sammy and Mal also appeared to patch things up, as the project manager told her: \u201cHow I feel with you in three days is already probably stronger than how I felt about Jess in two weeks. I preferred being with you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Catherine then got a text \u2013 and it was time for the show\u2019s infamous heart rate challenge!\u00a0<\/span><\/p> Dressing up in sexy outfits, the islanders danced for the opposite sex, and whichever team got pulses racing the highest would be crowned the winners.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The competition threw out a few surprises for the contestants \u2013 especially when Medhi Edno<\/a> kissed all the girls on the mouth! \u2013 and not one of the girls\u2019 heart rates shot up the highest by the person they are matched with.<\/span><\/p>\n Catherine and Kady enjoyed Sammy\u2019s performance the most, whereas Jess went wild for Medhi, and Leah for Tyrique.<\/span><\/p>\n Whitney found her pulse raced for Zach, and so did Ella \u2013 which left Tyrique looking annoyed!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The girls won the challenge \u2013 but at what cost? The teaser for the next episode showed that things are about to get explosive between Whitney and Medhi, whose heart rate went the highest from Catherine\u2019s performance\u2026 so could this spell the end of their relationship?
