Many didn’t realise that the show’s first season would only be made up of five episodes. <\/p>

After reports that the first season of The Idol<\/a> would be comprised of six episodes, viewers were shocked to learn that there will in fact only be five \u2013 and that next week\u2019s episode will therefore be the season finale.<\/p>\n

At the end of episode 4, fans were treated to a preview of the finale, which appears to show Jocelyn, Tedros<\/a> and the \u2018family\u2019 going on a major tour.<\/p>\n

However, viewers were quick to take to Twitter in shock at the small episode count, with one saying<\/a>: \u201cThey should\u2019ve spent less time on the sex scenes and more time on the story bc how\u2026 is the season finale next week and we\u2019re JUST now getting into the action.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another said<\/a>: \u201cNext week is finale of #TheIdol <\/span>thought it was 6 episodes? It was actually getting good.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
