Following Mehdi Edno<\/a>\u2018s exit, Whitney Adebayo<\/a> explored her options in the Love Island<\/a> villa, pulling both Montel McKenzie<\/a> and Zachariah Noble<\/a> aside for a chat.<\/p>\n Also on last night\u2019s episode, the couples were treated to a romantic dinner made by newly-single Love Island 2023 contestants<\/a> Whitney and Sammy Root<\/a>.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, the islanders didn\u2019t have many compliments for the chefs, as they served up a mushy pasta dish, which they renamed \u2018pasta mash\u2019.<\/p>\n Didn\u2019t get to tune in to Love Island last night? Well, we have a video recap above, as well as a detailed recap below.<\/p>\n Whitney was still feeling pretty emotionally after Mehdi\u2019s exit, as she broke down in tears while talking to the other girls.<\/p>\n That evening, the other islanders comforted her and Sammy, who was also now single since Mal Nicol<\/a>\u2018s departure.<\/p>\n The next day, Whitney decided to explore her options, and pulled Montel for a chat. As they chatted the boys and girls teased his partner Leah Taylor<\/a> as she watched on from afar.<\/p>\n Following the conversation, Leah pulled Montel for a chat to ask if it was just one-sided or if Montel was also interested in Whitney.<\/p>\n Montel said that although he thought Whitney wished it was more, he only saw her as a friend and just wanted to continue focusing on them.<\/p>\n That afternoon, Jess Harding<\/a> received a text, revealing that Whitney and Sammy would be cooking dinner for all the other islanders. Off they went to get ready for the evening, which saw the duo serving up \u201cpasta mash\u201d and a sexy sundae.<\/p> As the islanders sat in their couples, the conversations got a little bit romantic.<\/p>\n Montel complimented Leah and took cute pictures of her, Jess and Mitchel Taylor talked about her possibly rekindling things with Sammy, and Tyrique Hyde<\/a> asked Ella Thomas<\/a> if her head could turn \u2013 she said no, and that if he wanted to be a \u201cf**k boy\u201d, he\u2019d have to do that somewhere else.<\/p>\n Meanwhile Kady McDermott<\/a> and Zachariah chatted about their interests, which couldn\u2019t be further from each other\u2019s\u2026 awks!<\/p>\n Watching from the kitchen, Whitney told Sammy that she might like to talk to Zachariah, and he encouraged her to go for it.<\/p>\n After the dinner, Jess and Sammy sat down for a chat to talk about where the heads were at.
