Thursday\u2019s episode (29th June 2023) of the BBC One soap saw Anna (Molly Rainford) struggle with the lies surrounding her mysterious missing mother Rose Knigh<\/a>t \u2013 who viewers now know is an alias of the recently returned Cindy Beale<\/a> (Michelle Collins).<\/p>\n While her new stepmother Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) did her best to reconcile Anna and her fiery older sister Gina (Francesca Henry) with their father George (Colin Salmon<\/a>), Anna still had a lot of questions about her mother.<\/p>\n Despite the Knights ultimately coming together and declaring to move on, it was clear that Anna was not so ready.<\/p>\n In a conversation with her new friend \u2013 and potential love interest \u2013 Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell), Anna was encouraged to seek answers about her mother if she had any.<\/p> Bobby compared her situation to his trying to track down his absent father Ian Beale<\/a> (Adam Woodyatt) by reaching out to his estranged half-brother Peter Beale<\/a> (Thomas Law<\/a>) who claimed to knot know Ian\u2019s whereabouts.<\/p>\n Unbeknownst to Bobby and Anna, they share Peter as a half-brother, and Bobby\u2019s absent father Ian is actually with Anna\u2019s absent mother Cindy<\/a>, who is his first wife.<\/p>\n In scenes towards the end of the episode, Bobby was seen to receive a text from Peter who revealed that he would not be attending their grandmother Kathy Beale\u2019s (Gillian Taylforth) wedding to Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) after all.<\/p>\n Peter\u2019s text reads: \u201c[Don\u2019t worry] Bob. Won\u2019t make the wedding anyway.
