Cindy Beale aka Rose Knight has a lot of secrets in her jewellery box. <\/p>

There are multiple people yet to realise that Rose Knight is actually Cindy Beale in EastEnders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, fans had it confirmed that the fan theory the two characters were the same person was true when Cindy Beale<\/a> (Michelle Collins) made her dramatic return to the soap<\/a> and was revealed to be living in France<\/a> with her first husband Ian Beale<\/a> (Adam Woodyatt) and son Peter Beale<\/a> (Thomas Law<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The character had supposedly died off-screen in prison in 1998 but has been revealed to have been living in witness protection for years<\/a>, even having a family with new Queen Vic landlord George Knight (Colin Salmon<\/a>) including daughters Gina (Francesca Henry) and Anna Knight (Molly Rainford).<\/p>\n

On Thursday\u2019s episode (29th June 2023), after the rest of the Knight family resolved to bury their attachment to Rose who they now is actually a fraud, Anna made clear her resolve to get answers<\/a> and even pulled out a locket from Rose\u2019s jewellery box engraved with the date \u201c9.12.93\u201d.<\/p>\n

What is the meaning behind the date on Cindy Beale\u2019s EastEnders locket?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The date 9th December 1993 is the birthday of Lucy and Peter Beale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The twin children of Cindy Beale and her first husband Ian Beale, Lucy and Peter were born in December 1993 on the same day that their paternal grandfather Pete Beale (Peter Dean) was killed in a car accident.<\/p>\n

It is clear that the date remained incredibly significant to Cindy, even while she was living her new life in witness protection in Spain as Rose Knight when married to George and being the mother of their daughters Gina and Anna.<\/p>\n

Lucy Beale was murdered by her half-brother Bobby Beale in February 2014, the same year that Cindy abandoned her new family in Spain following an explosive row with George.<\/p>\n
