Fans are reeling after the ending to season 1. <\/p>
WARNING: SPOILERS FOR SILO SEASON 1 EPISODE 10 AHEAD.<\/strong><\/p>\n Fans have been left reeling at the end of Silo season 1,<\/a> clamouring to know what happens next.<\/p>\n As Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson)<\/a> finally makes it out of the silo, it\u2019s made clear that she and her people are far from alone in the world, as we\u2019re shown countless other silos surrounding the one we\u2019ve got to know so well over the course of 10 episodes.<\/p>\n Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> about what future seasons of the series will hold, author Hugh Howey<\/a>, who wrote the Wool novels that the Apple TV+<\/a> series is based on, revealed there\u2019s much more intrigue still to come.<\/p>\n He explained: \u201cWhat I love about this series, the book series, and what we would do with the TV show if we get an opportunity, is it doesn\u2019t tell the same story over and over again. There\u2019s not a lot of repetition.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThe story gets bigger over time and you try to maintain the DNA in the heart of what makes the series fantastic, but there\u2019s new characters to introduce, and again, every time you think the mystery is solved, it just gets more intriguing.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s been the thrill of this show and the thrill of the books, and we have to get a chance to keep doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n The series has been renewed for season 2, with filming currently taking place.<\/p> Previously speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/strong>, Howey delved into that final scene and Juliette\u2019s mindset, explaining: \u201cTry to put yourself in her place.<\/p>\n \u201cOf all the things you could expect to see when you get over the hill, what she finds has got to be the very last thing on her list \u2013 and the heartbreak.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you feel like your people have it tough and you get to the top and having that magnified, that mix of terror but also maybe hope and maybe fear.\u201d<\/p>
