After 17 years, Byker Grove<\/a> is back.<\/p>\n

After the surprise news just this morning (Tuesday 4th July), fans and viewers have been excited over the announcement and keen to know more about the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

The coming-of-age drama aired from 1989 to 2006 and centred on the lives of young teens who grew up in the Byker district of Newcastle and attended their local youth club.<\/p>\n

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly found fame on the show and will serve as executive producers for the upcoming series, which will be aimed \u201cat a primetime audience\u201d and \u201cengage with a new generation of teenagers navigating the different challenges faced by young adults today\u201d, production company Fulwell 73 said.<\/p>\n
