We\u2019re nearing the end of Prime Video thriller Jack Ryan, which has reinvented the iconic Tom Clancy character for a new generation of fans.<\/p>\n

John Krasinski (A Quiet Place<\/a>) is the latest actor to play the title role \u2013 previously portrayed by Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck and Chris Pine \u2013 and the first to do so on a television series.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s bowing out after four successful seasons on the streaming platform, with this final run bringing the story full circle with the return of Abbie Cornish\u2019s Cathy Mueller<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Naturally, there has also been talk of potential spin-offs<\/a>, but nothing has been confirmed at this time.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, viewers only have a week to wait until episodes 5 and 6 of Jack Ryan season 4, with both due to arrive on Prime Video on Friday 14th July 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jack Ryan season 4 will differ from previous seasons of the hit spy series, in that it will not be made up of eight episodes as all the others were.<\/p>\n

In fact, this season is set to be two episodes shorter, and will therefore be made up of just six episodes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The reduced episode count could in part be due to the decision to shoot seasons 3 and 4 back-to-back, as was revealed by Krasinski back in December.<\/p>\n

The star told The Wrap<\/a>: \u201cWe already finished [season 4], we actually shot three and four back-to-back. So that was the whole idea, knowing that the fans would go so long in between two and three, we decided to do three and four back-to-back so that they wouldn\u2019t have to wait that long again.\u201d<\/p>
