The Batman Who Laughs takes centre stage. <\/p>

A new DC Comics game, titled DC: Dark Legion, will take inspiration from one of the darkest Batman comics in recent memory.<\/p>\n

The game will put \u2018The Batman Who Laughs\u2019 \u2014 a version of the Caped Crusader who has nothing against killing after being infected with the Joker toxin \u2014 right at the centre of its story.<\/p>\n

First created by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo for 2017\u2019s Dark Days: The Casting<\/a> comic, The Batman Who Laughs is essentially a cross between Batman and the Joker, and this grim reimagining has become something of an iconic take on Batman.<\/p>\n

He went on to lead his own self-titled comic, The Batman Who Laughs<\/a>, with Snyder writing the story and Mark \u2018Jock\u2019 Simpson creating some truly creepy artwork. Check that out if you want to see just how dark The Dark Knight can get.<\/p>\n

The Batman Who Laughs is already available in Fortnite<\/a>, and he\u2019s also received a fair amount of merch.<\/a> Now, he\u2019ll be the main threat in the DC: Dark Legion game. Check out the official artwork for the game below!<\/p>\n

DC: Dark Legion has been described as \u201can action-packed strategy game coming to Android and iOS in 2024.\u201d So you\u2019ll be able to play it next year on your iPhone or Android device.<\/p>\n

The official description tells us: \u201cInspired by the Dark Nights: Metal<\/a> comic series, DC: Dark Legion features an original story set in a version of the DC universe where twisted Super-Villain The Batman Who Laughs has attacked the Earth and its heroes under mysterious circumstances.\u201d<\/p>

What will the gameplay actually entail? We\u2019re told: \u201cPlayers will take on the role of an agent from the 31st century as they recruit DC Super Heroes and Super-Villians to stop this terrifying new threat from destroying everything they know.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the Justice League by their side, players can build their own base, level up their superpowers and equipment, and lead a squad of their favourite characters against the darkness.\u201d<\/p>\n
