While stars such as Jonah Hauer-King and Lesley Manville have returned, others including Sean Bean and Helen Hunt are no longer involved \u2013 but there are new characters too.<\/p>\n
One major star joining the series for this season is Mark Bonnar, who plays charming MI5 operative Sir James Danemere, and it seems that we are set to see Maville\u2019s steely Robina fall under his spell.<\/p>\n
Speaking ahead of the new season, Maville teased: \u201cSir James, played by Mark Bonnar, is very gently wooing Robina, and she\u2019s not prepared for that at all. At first she\u2019s wary \u2013 he\u2019s a good guy who\u2019s a bit edgy. But that makes her like him even more.\u201d<\/p>\n

You might be surrounded by cameras, but you\u2019re in a play, performing for an audience and telling a story, whilst also having fun doing it.\u201d<\/p> Bonnar has most recently been seen in series including The Rig<\/a>, Litvinenko<\/a> and the final season of Guilt<\/a>, while Manville has starred in Citadel<\/a>, Sherwood<\/a>, Magpie Murders<\/a> and the fifth season of The Crown<\/a> playing Princess, a role she will reprise in the Netflix<\/a> show\u2019s sixth and final season later this year.<\/p>
